So, when I searched for myself on Google, exactly what I figured would happen, did. My Facebook and Twitter accounts came up...nothing too exciting.
I was a little surprised to see that someone can buy all my personal information and supposedly even my pictures for around $2.00. Is that really necessary?
I was okay with the fact there wasn't too much about me. I hope that when my students are my age there won't be anything negative about them when they search their name on Google. Hopefully teaching about digital citizenship and constantly reminding them about the importance of not posting personal information online, they will not do anything to damage their reputation.
